Configure SSL Certificate Checks in NZBGet

Why Certificate Verification Matters

Activating SSL verification protects your Eweka Usenet traffic from man-in-the-middle attacks and connection spoofing.

Setup Instructions

  1. In NZBGet, go to Settings > SECURITY.

  2. Set CertCheck to yes.

  1. Restart NZBGet to complete the change.

Troubleshooting Tip

If you receive certificate-related errors:

  • Check system clock accuracy.

  • Make sure CA certificates are present on your system.

Eweka’s SSL certificates are signed by well-known providers. Most devices already trust these authorities.
