Filter Smarter in NZBGet with Eweka’s Quick Filter Guide

When using NZBGet with Eweka, Quick Filter helps you find specific queue or history items without scrolling. This guide outlines how to apply Quick Filter efficiently.

Using the Filter

Enter keywords or partial strings into the Quick Filter input. NZBGet will highlight matching items in real time.

Supported Filters

  • Name: Search by article title

  • Group: Partial or full match on Usenet group names

  • Status: Filter by paused, queued, error, completed

  • Category: Search by group label or user-defined category

  • Script Status: View results from post-processing scripts

  • ID: Enter job ID numbers for exact matches

Match Examples

  • Use error to show all failed articles

  • Type a group prefix like alt.binaries. to isolate those

  • Input TV to display queue items in the TV category

  • Type a script result like pp-failed to see failed post-processing tasks

Efficiency Gains

  • Quickly remove stalled items

  • Spot duplicates by keyword

  • Verify article status across groups

Reminder

Quick Filter is non-destructive—it only changes what’s visible, not your queue’s actual state.

Conclusion

With Eweka’s long-standing article retention and NZBGet’s Quick Filter, efficient queue control is always within reach.
