Configuring RSS Feeds in NZBGet
Smarter Usenet Access Through RSS Feed Setup
RSS integration allows NZBGet to automatically monitor Indexer feeds and act based on filters you define. This reduces the need to manually monitor Indexers and helps capture articles as soon as they're indexed.
Steps to Add a Feed
-
Launch NZBGet’s Web interface.
-
Navigate to Settings > RSS FEEDS.
-
Click Add Feed, enter the RSS URL, and name your feed.
-
Enable the feed and set the check interval (e.g., every 10–20 minutes).
Filter Creation
-
Under Settings > RSS FEEDS > Filters, create specific rules.
-
Use DupeKey to prevent duplicates and DupeScore to prioritize better matches.
-
A complete list of supported filter rules and syntax is available in NZBGet's RSS documentation.
Advanced Matching Options
-
Filters support wildcards and regular expressions.
-
Add negative matches using
!
(e.g.,!cam
to reject cam recordings). -
Define multiple filter levels to accept or reject with increasing specificity.
Useful Tips
-
Avoid duplicate grabs with smart DupeKey usage.
-
Separate feeds by category for better sorting.
-
Always match article age with Eweka’s article retention.

-
Use the LOGGING for feedback on accepted/rejected entries and reasons.
