Assigning a New Storage Drive

Change the destination location like this:

  1. Go to Settings > PATHS in the NZBGet Web interface.

  2. Update DestDir with your desired path.

  3. Match other folders such as InterDir to the new structure.

  4. Click Save All Changes.

  5. Restart NZBGet to apply.

Check for system access permissions to avoid interruptions.

Locating Where Items Were Stored

To find storage paths:

  • Browse the History tab for completed entries.

  • Open the Messages section for logs.

  • Review Settings > PATHS to see default and custom paths.

If unsure, use your system's file search to locate recently modified folders.

Resolving a Frozen Repair Process

When NZBGet is stuck:

  • Pause all queue activity.

  • Read error details under Messages.

  • Restart NZBGet.

  • Requeue the NZB from your Indexer if needed.

  • Use external repair utilities if built-in repair hangs.

  • Monitor system performance.
