Add a Usenet Server in SABnzbd

To use Eweka with SABnzbd, you’ll need to add Eweka as a new Usenet server in the application. Follow the steps below to configure your server connection:

  1. Open SABnzbd and go to Settings.

  2. Click on the Servers tab.

  3. Select Add Server.

  4. Enter the following details:

    • Server Address: news.eweka.nl

    • Port: 563 (SSL) or 119 (non-SSL)

    • Username: Your Eweka username

    • Password: Your Eweka password

    • Connections: Up to 20

    • SSL: Check this box to secure your connection

  5. Adjust the Priority value to determine how SABnzbd uses this server compared to others. Lower values are used first.

  6. Click Test Server to verify the configuration.

  7. If successful, select Save Changes.

After setup, Eweka will appear in your active server list, giving you access to newsgroups with the most complete article retention.
