What software do you need for Usenet?

Usenet is accessed through a type of software called a “newsreader.” A newsreader is specifically made to access Usenet and will quickly download headers, allow you to read posts, and also generally allow you to add articles to newsgroups.

 

There are many free, shareware, and paid clients available. A quick online search can show you many of the most popular choices.
